Five steps. Takes about 20 minutes. After that, Eden runs with you every month.
The Steps
Sign up with email or a social login. No credit card needed for the trial. You will land on your budget workspace immediately.
Connect your bank accounts via sync, or add them manually. Enter your current balance for each. Eden will use these balances as your starting point.
Go to the Budget view. You will see your total available to assign. Distribute it to categories like rent, groceries, savings, and fun, until the Ready to Assign balance reaches zero.
As you spend, add transactions manually or let bank sync pull them in automatically. Assign each one to a category. Watch your balances update in real time.
At the end of the month, check your insights to see where money actually went. Use that to assign more thoughtfully next month. The habit builds quickly.
Tips
The hardest part of budgeting is the first month. Here is what makes the difference.
Quick answers to the most common first-time budgeting questions.
Move money from another category that has room. This is normal and expected. The budget is a flexible plan, not a rigid rule.
You can assign to next month as soon as income arrives. Eden separates months so you can plan ahead without confusion.
No. Bank sync is optional and makes transaction entry faster, but Eden works perfectly with manual entry if you prefer full control.
Start simple. Five to ten categories is enough for most people. You can always add more as your budget matures.
